Rant...not just you, but a lot of authors...you chock a vehicle wheel for safety when you change a tire to keep the vehicle from rolling off the jack, or to keep a vehicle in place. A person can swallow incorrectly and choke on the beverage or food, or you can choke someone to death, or you can use a manual choke on an engine to help you start it or stop it when it is running. Simple really, and not knocking you personally I am enjoying the story so far. Depending on how super Harry is used, they can be a good thing.

What a dumb thing to do 'Maya' it's totally stupid and completely needless. Hermione's name has already been shortened by fanfic readers but they at least used something reasonable in calling her Mione. Why would this writer be so dumb as to try such a stupid name?

I just realized that I'm missing something conceptually here. Must be something simple, but it eludes me.
The attacks by Dumbledore in the first two chapters were intended to be fatal attacks. Had he succeeded at the start, Harry is dead. How does this work for Dumbledore's plans?
1. Harry is not even 14 yet. How can he produce a child with Ginny Weasley if he's dead? Has he had sperm samples taken in Harry's first three years, so as to do an artificial insemination on Ginny, with the bethrothal contract legitimizing the baby?
2. With Harry gone before the Tri Wizard Tourney, who will be the extra 'champion'? Does Dumbledore even suspect that Voldemort is trying to come back?
3. Without Harry as the 'Child of the Prophecy', who can fight Voldemort? Or does he discount the prophecy and plans to take Voldemort down himself?
4. If Harry is dead, why on earth is there any fuss over having Hermione for Ron? With the Weasleys in Dumbledore's corner, Ron's good future seems assured anyway. This assumes that Ron doesn't simply want her at his feet based on simple animosity felt towards her.
With Harry out of his reach, Dumbledore's attack on the Grangers makes sense as a way to get to Harry. Even then, the issues listed above still seem in full force.

I'm a chronically ill person and I understand from where you come from. I rejoice that you are at least healthy enough to work; I have been permanently disabled for 14 years now. Transfusion dependence will do that to you and no, this is not a 'poor me' competition. I offer you empathy and support.
I appreciate the joys and pains of wooing the muse when you have to fight between her call and your wish to sleep for the next 18 hours.

I am enjoying this story very much and all you've put into it thus far. The interaction between Sirius and Amelia is far more realistic than a lot of stories in which he is finally freed.
Truly evil Dumbledore stories need some handling and this one shows a refreshing verve.
Looking forward to catching up with the story.

Mate, PLEASE go back through the chapters and fix the format, as it is hard to read, this is a good story. But reading more than one person talking in the same line, and not having a space between each line, make it hard to read so PLEASE sor this out.
