This story is amazing! One of the most oringal and creative I've ever read. I absolutely love the complexity and sublety of the characters, wow that takes so much talent alone. But then adding your orginal ideas and twists to the story... absolutely incredible! I know on your Tumblr you said you were sick the previous year and had difficulty updating despite wanting to, so I wanted to let you know how much this story is loved and admired and I really hope this finds you well.

I’m really surprised she didn’t break down and apologize to kakashi at all. I mean... she DID hurt him. He deserves an apology.
She isn’t all that different from original Sakura, who also froze up in the beginning when faced with adversity. She was borderline useless. While your Sakura is more capable at this stage, she wants nothing more than to use all her carefully honed talent to tuck tail and run as fast and far as possible. And I don’t think anyone reading or watching naruto is interested in reading about a character who breaks off on their own and goes into hiding or whatever she would do... so I hope she gets over it soon lol. Whether she likes it or not, these characters ARE likable and worthy of her time, effort and protection.
What’s the guarantee that if she runs, she won’t die out there? She seems to need to talk with a therapist if we’re being honest. She’s thinking irrationally.

This is interesting largely because she is so miserable to be there, when normally with self-inserts we see characters that are eager to connect and forge lasting bonds with the main characters. She seems a little bit trapped in the role she has assumed, and it’s obvious that her pseudo-persona is actually affecting her mental health quite a lot more than she realizes or even intended. She seems unhealthily bitter and antagonistic to what she calls mere children. I can understand to a certain extent but I think she needs a break, or to find a friend SOMEWHERE so that she can take a breath and relax. She’s wound too tightly, like a rubber band about to snap...
