Excellent chapter! I loved all the callbacks to ROTJ in the way you wrote the scene in Jabba's palace. Loved seeing Ahsoka's reunion with Anakin, and of course, I was really glad to see everybody escape Jabba's palace relatively unharmed.
"And the thought of her husband almost dying at this vile monster's hands now...when hope had finally been reborn, when her Ani appeared so close to redemption...when it was finally time for him to meet their children...Well. That was just one insult too many, and the presently tenuous control she held on herself snapped, severing any logical thought processes she had." I thought you did a very good job of showing why Padme snapped and killed Jabba.
"We don't have either the time or the resources to even attempt trying to fight the Empire and stabilize the now very unstable situation in the Outer Rim." Very true, and I hope it doesn't come back to bite them on the behind at a critical point.
So the next chapter is Anakin meeting with Luke and Leia? I very much look forward to it!

Hello There... Thank you for the amazing updates ... Very IMPRESSIVE! Well... The chapter was full of Surprises! From the conversation between Padme and Sola to the Mission between Vader/Anakin and ObiWan. Sola certainly gave Padme some very great Advice. Giving her a lot to think about. Mostly to see and focus on the Good in Anakin, for the sake of her family. I couldn't help to laugh while ObiWan was talking to Vader through their force bond... I really thought ObiWan was going to get PUNCHED! Biggest surprise was when Vader & ObiWan were ALMOST double-crossed... I'm glad Vader gave Dryden a reckoning. WOW! I can't hardly wait for the next chapter.. Please.. Keep impressing your fans and grace us with more updates.. PLEASE! Thank You! May The Force Be With You! :]

OH WOW! I am absolutely STUNNED... and so Emotional after this chapter. I thought the meeting at the beginning of the story was EXCELLENT. I’m so glad that even Padme was impressed. You can really see the maturity that Anakin has developed throughout his days as a Sith Lord. Mainly because he lived a life a misery and hatred. But the confrontation between Obiwan and Anakin/Vader was just INCREDIBLE! Talk about spilling your feelings... and everything Anakin said is the Absolute TRUTH! I got teary eyed as I read what Anakin was saying. Obiwan was hit with the truth and it hurt worst that being hit with a lightsaber. I was SO glad that Padme got the chance to hear everything he had to say. Now.. I think Anakin /Vader will be able to move forward with his plans and eventually his life (With Padme of course). This story is just AWESOME! Thank You for the update. :]

Well HELLO THERE! I hadn’t had time to read or catch up with my FAVORITE FanFiction Stories.. So when I saw there was an update on this story I was THRILLED! I shouted and clapped out of sheer Happiness. So... WOW! Talk about heavy conversations.. Vader/Anakin and Padme had A LOT of clearing the air between them. It seems that Anakin had more of a harder time to explain and answer those very uncomfortable painful questions. Having to admit mistakes is so very hard to do. As for Padme... she now has some decisions to make. She also has to face some hard and sad realizations when everything is said and done. I am keeping my hope high that they will get there. I LOVE the way Padme talks Anakin down.. cuz she knows she can.. just as most wives do and have some power over husbands. I’m so glad you continued this AWESOME Story. Please continue.. and THANKS. :]

Oh my, ohh my! There was a lot packed into one chapter here! I love Sola written like this. Supportive, caring, wise...That is so much better than sniveling, haughty, and jealous. She definitely gave P some great advice. As for DV and Obi...that was so funny! I mean, it was tense and all that, but the back and forth snippy comments were beyond hilarious! I was rolling reading that! Great stuff! Great update! Thanks! Excited to read more!

Vader demands fair treatment? War is never fair, surely not every imperial on the death star deserve to die in such a drastic manner. Maybe some of them have no choice but to serve the empire and maybe life imprisonment would be punishment enough. And yet in EP4, Luke destroyed the Death Star and those who fail to leave perish along with this abominable weapon. But no one seems to care how many families and friends become heart-broken simply because they love some imperials. Maybe it must be done because there is no better option to prevent other planets from being destroyed like Alderaan. And yet it's still a massacre. I doubt that even if Vader helps the most in ending the rule of the empire, he can go without being severely punished for his cold-blooded murder. Maybe he deserves it, but I still hate to see the Skywalker family being parted.

Wow, thank you for the quick update, I enjoyed the part that Vader gives Obi-wan an earful. Obi-wan really needs to hear that before he can help Padmé to get Vader back on track. But in regard to Shmi's death, Padmé is neglectful too. After all, without Anakin, she can hardly leave Tattooine and shut down the Droid Army. And yet after Naboo is saved, she had ten years and more than enough money to free the mother of the one who played the biggest part in freeing Naboo. But I guess if Sidious can manipulate Anakin into strangling his pregnant wife, it won't be a problem for him to find a lackey to kidnap Shmi and torture her to death even if Padmé brings Shmi to Naboo.
