I like the story so far but it's starting to drag a bit for me. I keep wishing for the part re: camera you mentioned in yr summary wld be broadcasting things, to get here already. I mean no flame, just wish the story was moving fwd a tad faster - or that you would also show what's happening outside as far as rescue, etc. :-)

I appreciate that you finagled a way to force Jim to confront what really happened to him. Part of my trouble with ST:ID is that the end was so rushed and we never get to see any of the crew deal with the fallout.

Eeeek! The best thing about all that angst expressed is they're both evidently not terminally or even badly injured (or they wouldn't be able to speak), but the worst is they could go on like this for days!

At this rate, Jim had better be getting a pair of *wings*.
In addition to his legs ...
Not that I'm too worried, but I'm hoping that this drama, on top of everything else that happened due to Admiral Marcus' criminal actions and Khan's, really open up some eyes at Starfleet Command.
Especially since the eyes of the Federation are on them ...
At this rate, Jim had better be getting a pair of *wings*.
