While family is fine, honestly the mystery tag should show instead romance or comedy. Still can't decide which by how much their relationship is pushed, like no problem with it. But then Lucius over here deciding if harry can get pregnant, you have goblins calling things romantic. Just you know, a bit much.

I am suprised that Sherlock (whom I have no doubt would happily explain how a child's grandmother is can't see him anymore because she is slowly decaying six feet under -in excruciating detail, JUST so the kid would stop asking) somehow has aquires social skills AND the willingness to apply them -for absolutly no benefit to himself. Or his work.
(In the tv series he genuinly IS a sociopath. 100%
But in the books he merely distain emotions and ATTEMPTS to be one.
In neither place does he give a rats ass if he insults people or make small children cry.
...unless that child is Watson. He's always had a weak-spot for Watson.
He may be in love with Irene, and obsessed with Moriarty... but he always comes back to Watson in the end.)
I am also suprised that the man who doesn't even know whether the sun circulates around the earth or the earth arpund the sun -and doesn't WANT to know because he knows that the brain works best when it is free from information not pertaining to his chosen profession- even reads his schoolbooks!
All of them I mean. SOME magic would be valuble to him, but not everything.
(And that is a more likely reason he is not in Ravenclaw. He does NOT care about Knowledge. He cares about RESULTS. In his chosen field.
The fact that he studoes so hard is a means to am end, not a love of knowledge.)
I also keep wondering where Moriarty is. He's as tied to Sherlock as anyone else. (And just as obsessed with him as John. If not more.
But in the way a clueless kid in kindergarden pushes the girl he likes off the swings and puts gum in her hair just to get her attention. Sanity was never his strong suit.)
I honestly expected Hermione to be Moriarty.
Not only because he's a genious (an evil genious), but also because it would be so unexpected -and Moriarty is the master of disguise.
Neville matches Greg far better.
But since that is not the case I can't help but wonder if and when he'll show up.
(And if Irene will be there. I could totally see Ginny being Irene. Or Cho. She's a cunning little minx, and fools everyone but Sherlock everywhere she goes. And steals.)
Mycraft, while suprising, makes a tragic amount of sense.
Although now that he doesn't have health issues, I wonder if his love for food will overtake his "parent's" desire to have their son look skinny and good-looking. Lol
