Unfortunately for me, it took me a lot longer to lose my pregnancy weight, but I have friends and family who walked out of the hospital the same as their pre-pregnancy weight!. It's completely feasible that Rory's back to normal by now. I felt like I was intruding on an intimate family day. It was so natural and real and romantic and loving and thoughtful and sexy..I felt I shouldn't "be there"!

Another great chapter. I had a feeling the costumes were grease related when she mentioned sewing Rory into her pants. Jess is in for a surprise. I think it's really cool the way you researched events that year and two days isn't a big deal. Some women struggle with the weight after birth. Others slip into their prepregnancy jeans eight days after delivery. Every body is different so there's no room for or wrong time. Can't wait for Halloween!

Loved this chapter! It's always nice to see our favorite characters in realistic situations. I think you did a great job portraying the concern, the frayed nerves, exhaustion and relief that comes with parenthood. Not sure why Rory is investing a dollar to the jar when she didn't actually curse, but I especially loved the callback to the town events argument and end of summer madness. You do such a great job of balancing the youthful version of them that we remember with their new grown up roles. It's fantastic!

Jess and Rory work together like a well oiled machine! There's no discussion of who had less sleep, or who is working harder, or who needs sleep more...they respect and love each other enough to be mindful of what the other is going through. How I wish I had that with both my kids! Jess with a baby is so damn hot, and the 3 of them together almost makes me swoon! The last part with Jess and Rory talking about making out in the center of town was so sweet!
