This was so sweet and tender!. I laughed when Jess was talking about a little book tease to go with her hoodlum big brother. It was an adorable vision. I don't know how far youre going with this, but I would love to actually see that! I love that Jess is so involved and together they make quite a pair. The outfits Louise made were too cute for words, and the fact that Jess was not only willing to have his picture taken with Richie, he was excited about it. Jess and Rory are so attuned and connected to each other...they work like a well oiled machine. Richie is sure to be a rich man when he gets that swear jar!

Don't get me wrong I love this story. I love the relationship between Rory and Jess. I think the baby is adorable and love how you utilize all the other characters. But I have to say Rory is getting a little too supermom already for me. Yes having a child changes you some but the breastfeeding, the swear jar, the being perfect tuned in to his schedule so quickly...there is a lot of pressure on moms to be this person and I understand why not having kids you would automatically write her that way but please, I am begging you, make her flawed. Make her different from the daily propeganda that is too frequently demanded of mothers.

What a happy family - everything seems to be going so well. Bet that Hunter adores little Richie and in time, they will have a great bond. Very nice that April can relieve them for a few hours. So, back to work before long, but it won't be too bad as Rory and Richie can accompany Jess some / most of the time. Thanks much. More soon please.

Tummy time is appropriate but there is no way Ritchie would be holding his head up, even a little. At 9 days, his head is just a floppy head! I love that she's great feeding him. I did with both my kids, and so many stories skip that part, and it's such a special part of the bonding fact that It's important to Jess too and he plays a part when he hands Rory the baby in the middle of the night makes it that much more so. Cold showers can come in handy during the 5-6 week sex ban!
