I've meant to leave a review oh-so-many times before but just can't adequately express what this story means to me — so this inadequate explanation will have to do.

You see, I absolutely adore your GotG story but you weren't updating it and I saw this one pop up, as it was written. I ignored it. For months and months, I just wasn’t interested in reading something about some odd talking animals cartoon.

Finally, in January last year (2018) I couldn't stand it any longer and figured I’d give it a read — hadn't so much as seen the trailer for the film.

And, wow! I was hooked. Your writing has always impressed me but this was simply superb. I finished reading and immediately went and bought the film, still expecting to hate it.

I'm extatic to admit I was wrong. Joyously and momentously wrong. I *loved* the film and the world and characters. It set me off on a year-long odyssey of wonderful Zootopia fan-fictions. I've been reading, solidly, in my every spare moment for an entire year and I’m still loving every single second.

And this is the fic that started it all — This wonderful, funny, brilliantly written and sheer masterpiece of a work. And now, we're treated to a long-awaited update.

I'm absolutely over the moon, and can't thank you enough both for continuing to write this *and* for introducing me to a whole new world. I can, quite honestly, say that this story changed my life. I've made new friends, discovered a whole new world of fiction and, I think, been made a better person as a result.

Oh, and you really really should upload these to AO3 as well — there's a whole other audience out there...

Ah, I have to re-read this now and again, just to enjoy its rich complexity and sheer brilliant humor! I do hope you can someday continue this series. Thanks so much for writing it here.

Reading this is an absolute joy. I adore your sense of humour, and Christ do you seem to have something personal against Nick, but I love it and it's cripplingly funny. And what's more, you shift organically between comedy and drama very smoothly, which is a feat.

Bold move with the format. I think it works for the kind of TVish vibe you're going for. Took me a bit of getting used to, but by chapter 2 I loved it. You also have a way of writing the characters so that it really feels like they're animals. Little things like Nick at one point reminding Judy that he can't digest cellulose, or mentioning in the narrative that he sank into the snow to his hoch. It makes it much more believably Zootopia. The differences between the animals is such an enormous part of that universe.

I also quite enjoy your plots so far. They're just convoluted enough that they give that whodunit vibe while still seeming real. You've got a lot of balls in the air, though, what with Dough, the raccoon, and Nick's one-sided love life, all of which you'll presumably come back to at some point. Can't wait to see how it'll all pan out.
