This is what makes Slade Wilson a scary villain.
He thinks one emotion and executes his plan, but is always thinking how far into the future down the road from that moment of execution that more can be the simple outcome of one moment's trigger of response.
An eye for an eye.
Your ending was divine. "His daughter was now a hero, so it was only fair that the hero's child would be a murderer." (like the ultimate sacrifice of two sides giving swap)
Liked the reference to another couple authors works hinted at in this as well.
