This review is long overdue. I read this story months ago and pretty much binged it and fell in love, but alas it was on my kindle which I refuse to try to write a review on, so here I am with just the feel of this story to review on, but it is due to you nonetheless.
First, I love the premise. This is so normal, especially since this takes place in sort of a canon atmosphere. Having Takeru in car accident is just so close to home to so many readers that it really hits hard, seeing the way he suffers (I can truly tell you did all your research.) But probably the thing I love most about that is how much a child he seems through all of this. I think so many of fanfic writers (myself included) tend to write these characters more adult than they are (even when we don't age them up much). It was so refreshing to see the real terror, pain, fear, and childlike humor through Takeru as he deals with his recovery.
The skittles game and the hats were all just so wonderful.
My second favorite after Takeru, is of course Yamato. So much of this was through his eyes and I think you nailed him so perfectly. The way he interacts with each digidestined as they react to Takeru's state is just so amazing and everyone is so in character. I loved Sora & Hikari especially during the beginning times when things seemed so bleak.
Just know that even though I can't remember all the details to write them now, i appreciated all the little things you wrote. There were so many lines, interactions, and small things that really showed your talent as an author. Thanks for writing this. It is definitely one of my favorites and a serious breath of fresh air in the fandom.

I really love this story, it's one I come back to again and again and notice new things that I enjoy each time. I'm always a fan of takaishida brotherly love and the dynamics with their parents. I would really love to read Ken's perspective on this that you mentioned you might give a shot in the Strobe series - the mention of Ken/Daisuke's reaction to the group text has been something I definitely wanted to hear more about since I first read that chapter. I love their friendship as well! Thank you for writing this great fic and I do apologise for not reviewing earlier :)

I'm gonna cry. For real. Partly because it's the end, partly because it's so perfect, and partly because you did it. Those ending lines were the most fitting end you could've possibly written. A sweet but shit eating grin is basically the epitome of Takeru. Also, holy crap! I can't believe your dedication with all that research! Silly hats off to you. (I haven't forgotten or taken off the virtual silly hat you gave me) ;)

i really loved this story! Im usually an angsty person ( which you included) but I think a bit of fluff is needed every now and then.

You do not UNDERSTAAAAND how DEAD I am inside. This was such a fluffy ending, and yet I feel so, so heartbroken to know that this is complete. I was kind of attached to the whole brotherly image of Yamato sitting by Takeru's hospital bed waiting for him to get better.
You did so well with this. A big round of applause. The research, the sibling interaction, the friendship. Everything was amazing. I am addicted to Takeru-centric stories omg.
I am so excited for the continuation of your other stories. I think I need to go find a towel to stop my eyes from sweating.

First of all, I'm gonna wear my virtual silly hat with so much pride. Secondly, I don't know what's the most priceless - Iori in a propeller hat or Takeru yelling pointers about how to overpower Yamato. It's both so utterly perfect.

This was so adorable! Every scene was so fluffy and made me smile. Takeru is healing, and it makes me so happy! Yamato did need a big dose of sleep. He was getting cranky.
Your concluding lines are always great. I can't wait until Takeru gets to take his mask off. Update soon!
