I think my favorite part of this is that you wrote Kasen during the flashback like the average Oni: stubborn, violent, prideful of her strength, and very willing to eat humans. You wrote the God Emperor as much more patient with a "filthy Xenos" then the Imperium would be inclined to believe, which is a good thing.
One can only guess why the God Emperor decided to tame Kasen. Perhaps the God Emperor spared Kasen because she ran and could be interpreted as feeling guilty.
Even if you don't turn this into a full story, I'd like to see Kasen interact with the people George introduced her to and what one of their once-every-hundred-years meeting looks like.
