That was just too cute! I can only imagine how Lucy must have felt. I tend to put myself in the character's does when I read so I started cringing the moment it felt like things were derailing. The way it turned out was so adorable in the end.

GOSH THIS IS SO CUTE! I haven’t read a ‘stood up’ trope story like this before and it was super sweet! If you like these kinds of stories theres a collection of one shots that has a kind of similar idea. They’re both on blind dates and accidentally get paired with each other instead of their actual dates, its real cute. I’ll have to look back through my favs to find the name again, hmm, it might be from Nobody Writes :P
