That was so sweet, I liked how Natsu tried to cope with missing Lucy, but it was so good to see them make amends with each other.
The best thing about this was adding the twist of Natsu being the one feeling left out and feeling jealous about Lucy and Lisanna's friendship, it's literally one of two ways I wanted to see this portrayed.
If its nightmares, I'm sure Lucy would let him in without getting upset about it.

It's difficult losing an animal that is a part of the family. Iv lost too many over the years and its never any easier. What you did was brave and to be honest I cried my eyes out all the way through. It really affected me and I thought you did well writing out the emotion and situation. Im sorry for your loss and I hope your cat is looking over you happily x

I love them both! Thank you for the twist, because this scenario seems way more plausible than all the many trope stories with Lisanna. Like Natsu could stay away from Lucy if ge tried! lol. and I like the simplicity of your drabble. its so spot on Natsu.

Finally something with lucy not being ignored by everyone and lisanna being jealous -_- I like Lisanna and I can't see her being mean, but she does do more than Laki and Kinana so it's not quite so bad. I just wish people would stop making her seem like a jealous bitch a lot XD

I loved the twist you put on the cliché. There are so many stories about Lucy being ignored or kicked out of the team/guild when Lisanna returns. It gets really old quickly. I don't even give those stories a chance but I loved what you did with this one. Instead of Lucy being ignored it was Natsu. I've never seen this done before. It was nice and refreshing to read. I hope that other authors would follow this route. Lucy's reason for hanging out with Lisanna was something I felt could actually happen. It seemed very reasonable from her point of view. Although she could have spent a little more time with Natsu than she was originally doing. I'm curious on how long she would have kept her plan going before confronting Natsu about her feelings. Or vise versa with Natsu instead. Overall I really enjoyed this one shot. Can't wait to read more! :)

I do think Lucy and Lisanna would make good friends but I see your point about her just sort of being there, like another of the backgrounds characters to just join in the fights. She's more a part of Mira's backstory (And Elfman's too) than anything.
Either way, this was super cute and you broke my heart when Natsu was upset in the middle so good job :)
