Nice, and in some way this reminds me a bit of some of Star Trek Online Duty Officers employments, with the need to resettle colonists, but in this case it was asylum sheltering mission. Some what like the Star Trek Strange New Worlds where the Enterprise XO got a trial, for being an augmented woman.
Now a question the Think tank should already noticed the quantum mycelial network, the same used by the Discovery Spore Drive, unless Starfleet high command flooded the systems to disrupt and discredit any research involving the cosmic spores. Well on the last episode of Star Trek Discovery, Michael Burnham and the discovery departed alone to an uncharted space area, you could use it as an opportunity to make a quantum temporal anomaly that brings the Discovery to the Wolverine, after all if Michael Burnham was raised in Vulcan as Spock's sister, she could have met Naruto when he was just a kid.

Taking advantage of the fact that you're on an inspirational streak, maybe in 2025 you can make a continuation of:
*The favor Naruto owes Q.
*Sasuke's revenge and/or the threat of the Terrans.
*Conflicts with the Cardessians.
*What has become of Talok and Selik.
*Naruto and Talok's new brother or sister.
*The shinobi in Atra.
*The colonies, still hidden and/or lost by Tkon.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

No one is doing anything behind Star Fleet's back.
You forgot that ALL the Fast Cruisers are now equipped with Cloaking tech based upon the prototype ship that the Wolverine stole from the Klingons during the War.
And it was a member of the Think Tank that made said tech viable for operational use, as they previously couldn't use it if not stationary.
May want to do a reread of the story.

Enjoyed the chapter, but a bit surprised that Naruto didn't try to deflect the gaps in the record comment by pointing out that those are either because the Admiralty or SF Intelligence has adjudicated those matters as classified and that they'd have to lift said classification before the Wolverine's crew could talk about it
The stuff with Section 31, the various time travel shenanigans, the Mirror-verse to name three quick examples off of the top of my head.
Not sure how the Q were classified or Naruto's T'Kon heritage, but they might be other examples of things the brass wouldn't want them talking about, historian interest be damned.
Also will T'Lyra also be interviewed over subspace, as she got shanghaied courtesy of Q alongside Allison and Shizuka?

This was an interesting chapter. The issue of pre-warp societies being contacted and given advanced technology must happen all the time. The Klingons probably do it openly when they conquer worlds, but it really doesn't get spoken about much in Star Trek. I guess it goes against the Star Trek theme too much.
Making a bloody example of them is probably the best thing Naruto and the Federation could do.

Great chapter and I enjoyed reading it. And I loved Naruto's clever response, to the captain of the Vern Tyranny ship demand to turn over any survivors. Since it was technically not a lie, Naruto just omitted that he rescued all the refugees. I laughed when I re-read Naruto's response and realized what he did. Also, I love this story. And I often go back and re-read the previous chapters. Great job again, and I look forward to reading the next chapter.
