Definitely different...very different. I was really confused at the beginning of this chapter because my mind was automatically placing these events with when they happened in the books, especially since there wasn't much direction telling me when you were having them happen.
I had just discovered the original story and adore the idea of a Harry/Aragorn pairing. And I absolutely love the way you wrote Harry's relationships with the other LoTR characters.
I'm really hoping that you will continue at least one of the stories since it's been over 5 months since the last update. :)

So this won't be Aragon/Harry anymore? This was of the reason I started reading HOG, so I'm kinda disappointed that slash will become an afterthought. I aways think that their relationship was great but it was not really explored. I was hoping you will add more of their relationship in the story. It's been 6 years since you started that story so I would think you would go that route.

I really liked the old fic, but so far this is a pretty good rewrite too. Loved having more details. Looking forward to reading more! :)

Is this going to have Lord Voldemort/Harry Potter slash pairing, because from the brief summary I saw (before clicking on it) it certainly seemed like it?!
You could have Voldemort capture and rape Harry since it would no doubt add to Harry's suffering as well as increase Harry's fear of Voldemort making it harder for the young Wizard to vanquish the Dark Lord.
