Tbh, I always knew the relationship between Jacob and Emma was cagey. Yeah they had their cute moments, but my suspicions started in the very first book with her coming onto him just a couple of chapters after trying to kill him and learning that Abe was dead...yeah something didn't seem right about that. My suspicions really spiked at the end of LOS when she mentioned "the great Abraham Portman" just after Miss Peregrine said the same thing about Jacob. I always thought Enoch was a huge jerk for seemingly no reason, but he did a good thing warning Jacob that Emma would abandon him in a heartbeat by letting him know what she had said. Maybe he does have a heart after all. I will of course still read Emma fanfictions but as for Canon Emma, I have lost all respect for her at this point and I like her even less than I did Enoch at the beginning and I 100% detested him at least until now. Maybe she has a chance at redemption but after being on the receiving end of being abandoned for an ex myself and knowing how painful it is, it angers me to no end to see this happen to someone, fictional or no. You do not get into a relationship with someone when you are still mourning the loss of someone else there is nothing even remotely okay with that. It really is sad that I have come to detest a character that was at one point my absolute favorite. Anyways, rant over. I like your story and I am very interested in where you decide to take it. If you decide to keep Emma and Jacob together that's fine with me as long as she doesn't pull that crap that she did in A Map of Days. I need to read something good of my one time favorite character after all.

Concordo com as suas opiniões, mas eu achava que você daria um jeito para Jacob e Emma ficassem juntos. Aconteceram muitas coisas nos livros para fazer com que Emma não visse Jacob como Abe e pudesse amadurecer nesse curto espaço de tempo de provação.
Espero, no mínimo, os faça melhores amigos, porque não consigo ver outra pessoa consolando Jacob.
E estou muito feliz que não esteja morto! LOL
