so, this story won't have Juubi, kayuga and her clan right? it's just has the Sage and natural evolution of human genes, aka the second lens of the hyuga eyes that allow to see in darkness and thru walls.

lmao you're seriously going to need to adjust the age of Itachi as he killed his clan around the age of 13 or 14 meaning he'd have had to have gotten his gf pregnant when he was around the age of 12 or 13. Also probably not exactly a great idea to leave a locket with a message from Itachi in it as what would have happened had Danzo saw that locket an cracked the seal on it to see that this girl is an Uchiha? I bet he'd have made her disappear into his ROOT

Yeah.
How is NOT making clones to explore a potentially dangerous area for you the SMART decision? Clones are expendable and don't transfer harm to the user, making them the PERFECT scouts/information gathering tool.
So seriously, how was NOT using clones supposed to be the SMART choice? Hm? Take a minute and think about it. I'll wait. Nothing? Yeah. It was a dumb decision, plain and simple.
This is just like all those Sharingan!Naruto stories where he decides not to "cheat" by using the Sharingan unless absolutely necessary. He's a ninja and should use everything available to him, period. Any ninja sensei who didn't BEAT that nonsense out of their student immediately is an immediate failure.
In other words, it's a dumb decision the author tries to make out to LOOK like a smart one, because they either didn't like some detail (like changing his orange clothing, which does NOT stand out any more than any OTHER ninja's weird clothing choices) or were trying to be clever (and failed).
Naruto has clones. Naruto is a ninja. He should abuse that ability in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE, if it keeps him safe and/or makes him stronger.
The key problem isn't that he didn't use the clones to explore, though. It was that you tried to make it sound like that was the SMART thing to do, when it clearly was NOT the smart thing to do. It was a dumb choice, pure and simple.
Worse, just after deciding to try to act smarter, he makes TWO dumb decisions. The first was to NOT use his clones to explore. The second was to just start pressing buttons in a place he KNEW NOTHING ABOUT.
Just saying he's "going to act smarter" doesn't somehow make all his dumb decisions smart ones. Saying isn't the same as doing.
