I finally think Ron is growing up. To be honest I always thought he was very childish throughout the Harry Potter series, so it's nice to see that mistake being corrected. Anyway love the story and hope to see more.

Nice note at the start, and good chapter...but you didn't say much of anything about RON's thoughts or feelings, mostly about everyone else's. He needs to go through a transition from shock/indignation/self-righteousness to questioning, then to surprise (this mostly at his father making it clear they still care, regardless of his actions and the punishment for them) and realization. If you can add that, it'll be a great chapter.
