Nice insight in everything Zelda has being going through up to now. And also how much she has been growing in your story, I hope she will be able to control her ghosts. Altough I could not agree to going again to the castle in that manner just to collect info, I understand you had things to show and they were very nice to know. But another cliffhanger! Why is he back?! Oh, why didn't he burrowed in some lost cavern and dried there? Zelda has some more growing up coming, it seems. I hope she remembers to finish her words with Link. Great work!

Did not see that ending coming! Zelda's father being back is definitely going to stir things up.

As always, I am totally surprised by this chapter! Oh boy, the King made his appearance. This might not turn out well. And to think that she almost confessed. ;-;

Not the king again! I'm very very mad at this ending. Very well executed, but I don't think it's hard to figure out that everything is about to go downhill very quickly. She was finally about to express her feelings and now... just ugh! This chapter was the usual fantastic job, though. So many plot twists I have whiplash. And who was that voice in Zelda's head? This story has had me hooked from the beginning and it just draws me in deeper with each character. By the way, I hope your cold feels better. I'll pray for you.

I LOVE THEM! Finally Link and Zelda might get their feelings straight! Also, I want to send a very very sincere thank you, because I half expected you to take things too far. But you didn't! I love you! It's great! And I really want the desire-crown game to be real. It sounds so fun! Also I love your little notes at the end, and today's was especially funny because I've nearly been hit crossing the street a few times in the past few days. *sigh* Teen drivers. I could mention so much more about the different characters and development, but I need to get some sleep. Thanks for a lighthearted break chapter, and as always, I can't wait for the next!

OMAGERD I CAN'T CONTAIN MYSELF
WE DID IT
ZEL! LET ME CONGRATULATE YOU... ON 100 REVIEWS! (pops the sparkling water and throws the flowers EVERYWHERE) We finally made it into three digits! It felt like just yesterday we were struggling at 35 reviews but here we are with 100! YOU DID AN AMAZING JOB GIRLY AND HERE'S TO MANY HUNDRED MORE!
I just wanna give a shoutout to all y'all other reviewers - I hope I'm not the only reviewer who reads everyone else's reviews, but just in case I am, I want to say that you guys are AWESOME! Everyone's feedback is so special; when I'm proofreading each chapter, it's usually loaded with me live-reacting to literally EVERY twist and turn, and it's so nice to hear everyone else's reactions and perspectives too! You guys all seem like such a sweet bunch of people and you already get brownie points for being a fan of this story! So thank you guys so much for supporting Zel on this EXTRAORDINARY project - it deserves 1000 reviews! Yo, we can achieve that if we're proactive. ;3
OKAY SO I have been planning to review for MONTHS but time has been escaping me so much, but I hope to review a lot more in these next few months! I'll also try to keep this a spoiler-free review (for anyone that's not caught up with the latest update yet but still peruses the review section)! My mind is in a tizzy atm SO I SHALL START BY
UM
TALKING ABOUT OUR (currently) FOCAL CHARACTERS!
First off, of course, our one and only Zelda! She has grown so much in these 17 chapter, my goodness. What was once a delicate, broken, haunted rose has welt her fragile thorns INTO BATTLE ARMOR. She's a warrior! No more is she wracked with guilt and umbrage; she dons them like her diadem, using her regrets to drive her forward and diminish her ghosts. Of course, her Shards aren't completely conquered - those scars are still there, still waiting to be vanquished by time and healed with resolution. But my goodness, she has taken charge! Juxtaposing a Zelda from half a story ago, to the Zelda we see now, is a testament to your prowess as an author, Zel, and how patient and thoughtful you've been while crafting her path ahead.
NEXT IS LINK! Awhhh, our little bundle of sunshine tied up with grass fronds! He's undergone a wondrous transformation too, I'd say! From the sort of vague, quiet protagonist, you have done so well to characterize a character that we really only get to see snippets of his personality in-game. You've created a young man, that (from Zelda's perspective) is respectful, protective, and an utter dreamboat. He exudes fairytale handsomeness, but not in a Gary Stu, Prince Charming sort of way, not at all! He's earthy, mineral-y, sort of born from the grass and trees and raised by the sunlight and breeze. You've done so well to add a 'genuine' personality to him that is strongly palpable but just openended enough - you've succeeded in filling the glass that is 'Link'.
Naru and Fuana! I do think I'd like to discuss the both of them together! (for reasonssssssss since this is a spoiler fweeee zone {if you haven't caught up on reading yet but you have time to read my nonsense review, random-reviewer-person, go read the story! THE PROSE IS SO DELISH}) From the ambiguous little girl, cloaked in mystery and bubbly energy, Naru's impatience and rashness is both endearing and true-to-life. She's not insanely 'awhhhhhhh SO UNREALISTICALLY SWEET' - she's realistic. She has the same strengths and immaturities of a young child, and I know that you place emphasis on wanting her to be youthful and realistic but not annoying - and I think you've done a fantastic job so far! I imagine she would be one of the most challenging characters for ME to write, but reading her scenes is always a laugh, a platter of humor and delight that brightly contrasts the older cast. Also she's so freaking relatable, like EVERYONE has been a Naru at least once in their life. xD And, in her young, fresh purity, she manages to find some spare moments of wisdom (and Rubles! IN DA GRASS!) Fuana, we've only seen her for a few chapters and I'm still getting to know her! (and her speaking style w) Although nervous and harboring affection towards Linky, it was incredibly courageous for her to make that giant leap to continue onward on the journey with the rest of the crew. Her personality is mossy and woodsy (she's like a little fairy!) and her analytical tendencies always feel organic and authentic. She never feels 'sterile' or bland, like science-y or logical characters usually do - it comes naturally! ALSO their designs are just BLESS! As are, with all of your OC cast! The designs and personalities you meld for your original cast are so rolling and smooth and blend seamlessly; I would've thought they were canon if I was unbeknownst!
Another thing I'd like to point out (gush over xD) is your usage of actual gameplay references! Whether it's flying with cuccos (GIRL! I still crack up when I think of that scene, my heart did not know where that paragraph was headed xD) or sword-conjuring, your scenes always feel like they would fit perfectly into any Zelda game! Even down to the most minute details, like Epona riding mechanics, make your story stand out and POP! I still think the (muffled cough you-know-who) dungeon scene would have made for an excellent multiple choice thingy in a game where you could choose what happens next.
I don't actually think there's anything I need to critique, actually! I was searching but I couldn't find ANYTHING, which just deserves a massive round of applause ;3 (there was a minor formatting thingy in chapter 15, but I'll point it out to ya later LOL) Also, I remember last time I mentioned 'sensory background noise' and this story is FULL of it as of recently! I love how you use color and elements to set the scenes up - every scene, in my mind, has a different ambience. No scene has ever felt repetitive. Parallels, yes, but every scene has been so multifarious - in tone, in palette, and in content. SO. AMAZING. MY JAW. ON FLOOR.
And if the paragraph closing out your most recent chapter is a brief nibble of what's to come, oh gosh, WE HAVE A FEAST TO COME! Your story is absolute word-candy, and I enjoy every single moment, every single scene down to the word! : D ALSO WHAT ABOUT HER NEW SHEIK OUTFIT PEOPLEZ! I AM SO PUMPED FOR THAT I CAN'T EVEN
Outfit changes are such a crucial part of story development and I can't wait to see Zelda is her new badass garb!
There is a LOT more I'd like to type about, but I ran into some issues (angry side eye with hairflip) with the character count last time I tried to review, so I'll drop this one here and leave another one after an upcoming update. THE NEXT ONE IS A BIG ONE, HUH?! I'M SO EXCITED IMMA NOT BE ABLE TO CONTAIN MYSELF!

Oh, why can't they leave. them. ALONE! Urgh! What bad timing, these two need urgently to talk. Alone. And Impa should be more understanding, really.
On the bright side, hey, Zelda will wear the Sheikah Suit! Great! Let's see if we can pick up what Link think's about it. Sometimes I find it hard to know what he feels and thinks.
Looking forward to next month, great job!

What a great chapter with so much content! I just love how you’ve incorporated elements from the game. This is truly a well-rounded and impressive adaptation and interpretation of Twilight Princess and it’s predecessor games. There are parallels from OOT in the Game, and I see there are also OOT elements in this fiction work too.
Naru is a lovely character. I normally dislike children characters because I find them annoying and most authors tend to make their child characters unrealistic by treating like adults rather than being fun-seeking, curious and still growing into a fully-fledged young person. Congrats! You’ve avoided this error, and I like Naru a lot! I wonder if Din and Farore will make an appearance? *chuckles* Link and Zelda: the babysitting service... but in all honesty, I view them like doting parents to Naru. (They’d make wonderful parents together. It’s a good head-canon).
Please finish this story! It’ll be a shame if it’s incomplete like one of my other favourite stories :(
~ A.S.
PS: I was so delighted to see Link having fun killing things because he’s a BadAss. Buuuuut of course he’s still traumatized by the events. And your fighting scenes are superb! I’m hoping to see more. Maybe Link will be healed emotionally and mentally by then through Zelda’s caring nature ️
