Excellent Story. One of the Best Cthulhu Mythos Crossovers I have Read.
I'm also a Big Fan of the Dark Jade Project, which made be the Inevitability of this story.
Lovecraftian Horror can be very strange, but I can occasionally step back and look at it in a different perspective. The Cthulhu Mythos is humanity's realization of insignificance and hopelessness.
It is like an Ant glazing upon an approaching human and understanding. Understanding this titanic being could step on them without noticing and the terror of being noticed, not knowing if the being will only observe, crush you without a thought, tear you apart like toy, or burn you to nothing with shining light.
The reason humans submit to the horrors is because it's there own survival. It is Fear of a Power Beyond there Ability to Understand. On an Instinctual level, they are animals that want to pass there genes on and a monster has a far greater chance at survival than a mere human.

Welp... this took a turn, I can't wait to see how she will progress down this horrifying road that Nyarlathotep and the others have constructed for her. I wonder if Ithiqua the wind walker will bplay a part in this scheme.
I'm also curious where Xia fung and TsoLan are in this mess.

Me again thought my last review was a bit lack luster, since I was tired at the time.
Anyway I just wanted to say I really enjoyed this story. I really like the path you took using the Old Ones from the Cthulhu Mythos as the new enemies of the Chan family.
They certainly make all the other enemies they've faced in the past look harmless.
Of course I also enjoyed how you've given the Demon Sorcerers their time in the spotlight as well. Po Kong certainly proves herself more a threat than she ever got to be in canon thanks to her eating habits.
The human that Dai Gui chose took his powers over earth to new heights.
Tchang Zu did not really think things through with his choice of host.
I loved the unexpected twist/plot with Paco and Hsi Wu.
Not to mention Bai Tza allying herself with the Old Ones, and even getting married at that.
I also really liked what you've done with Valmont in this story. He's back in the game, and determined to be one of the ones on top in the coming changed world it seems.
Finally the most unexpected great twist with Jade somehow being the Herald of the Old Ones. Which i'm guessing is thanks to her grandfather somehow.

Another awesome story. I think that out of all your stories this one is probably the darkest, thought that might just be me.

Love the story so far. Hastur is my favorite Great Old One and you do a great job at portraying how powerful the Great Old Ones are. I also love how Shendu was smart enough not to agree with a giant mass of tentacles that appeared out of no where. And also I think this chapter can be summed up as Hastur found the perfect vacation spot and convinces everyone to go on a road trip.

Amazing update. Loved the fight scenes, but the wedding was the best, as it really captured the cosmic horror aspect of the story.
But all the information dropped was definitely the most important part of the chapter. Especially the reveals about Jade, and Uncle's brothers. I have some idea of where you're going with both, but I can't say for sure, and I can't wait to find out for real.
Keep up the good work.

Wonder which D.S infiltrated the Compound? It's either Xiao Fung or Tso Lan.

Made a mistake the post for your other story was meant for this one, also hope that your calendar for next month isn't so confusing. Loving the story.

Short, but still great. I admit, I kind of saw a connection between Jie and the Chans coming, especially given the obsession the Old One cultists all have with Jade (and I think I can tell exactly what that interest is), but him being Uncle's brother took me by surprise.
Also, interesting way of bringing Bai Tza back into play. I cannot wait to see how the Chans fight their way out of this wedding, or whatever happens there.
And nice development with Jackie and Viper.
Keep up the good work.

Well this is getting worse by the moment(the situation for the Chan Clan, not the story).
