This story is really something.
I have to read a couple of chapters a few times to understand the foreshadowing and hints all over that it's brilliant. I'm just amazed at how much stuff I've missed that were right under my nose the whole time, yet I become surprised when I come across it.
At first I wasn't too sure about this story because the beginning confused me a little with all the Mythos references. I'm glad that I stuck around though because damn this is too hard to drop.
For me, this story gets me forever thinking about so many things. Funny how Jackie has dreams with Viper in it, while they were broken up. Or like how Guerra was afraid of Paco because he sensed the demon in him. Jackie unknowingly impregnated a woman and will have a child with her, and I know Viper of all people won't be too happy about this (bruh what if that child comes out to be a demon hybrid, like what the Whateley Project is doing). "Something" (Hsi Wu) telling him that justice wasn't fulfilled. The bad guy was under everyone's nose the whole damn time and no one paid him any mind! I know you're writing a different arc right now, but the way the arcs are interwoven makes you open your mind and become aware of what might happen next that I'm somewhat paranoid!
It takes a lot of skill to drop hints and foreshadow when writing a story since it's not like a cartoon, ya know? I really like this story. Please keep up the good work or I will go insane over an unfinished fanfic.

Excellent chapter. I was surprised to see Marcus/Francis is still around, but it'll be interesting to see an expanded group of human-level villains around.
Can't wait to see what happens in Innsmouth, and what that line aimed at Uncle means - I admit I forgot about it's previous use, so thanks for the reminder.

Kay' also things are looking bad for our heroes, I mean Irene could have Lovecraftian creature DNA or something in her which is now in the baby of hers and Jackie's. And considering one of the whacko Whites looks like something that Satan himself would be terrified of I'm thinking the baby won't be by any means cute.

Wow. You did not disappoint for the beginning of this trip to Lovecraft County. I liked the reference to Zahn, the explanation of how the events of Dunwich Horror were changed by the merged reality, and the mentions of the other towns.
But why are the Mythos members so interested in the Chans? The influence on Jade was one thing, but now what Jackie is put through here... I can't wait to see what the big plan is.

Liking the direction that the flashback journal entries are taking. Can't wait to see how that comes into play.
I loved how the fight with the Shoggoth turned out. I was surprised at Valmont being able to take control of its powers like that, but you did make it clear that he wasn't done for, so I shouldn't be. I look forward to seeing what role he'll play later.

Wow this chapter was long. So I'm putting Shendu, Pasi Wuco(what I'm calling the now fused Paco and Hsi Wu), and possibly Draco are neutral, Valmont is now fused with Shoggoth which has now found the Chans, Black and his agents, and Finn and his girlfriend, the Chans now know there's a new evil out and about, White has eyes everywhere. How about having the groups who Lin and the others have meet up with the J-Team or something like that? Wonder how Viper, Ratso, Chow, and Hak Foo are doing?

The scene to the Shoggoth's origin was interesting, but I'm more interested in how Valmont's mind is surviving inside it, and what's going to come of it.
Can't wait to see just which of the demon sorcerers White is allied with (because that's clearly who he's talking to on the phone, right?). Also, who is the mysterious figure he sent to follow the Chans?
I see Shendu's plans are moving forward. Looking forward to what comes of that alliance.

Really like the story so far though granted hope Paco can have Hsi Wu removed from him later down the line. If not just being a plain neutral good or true neutral would be alright since I can't imagine the Paco half wanting to have harm come to those he cares about and Hsi Wu is smart enough to switch to the side he knows took him and his siblings down last time so this hybrid mind should make something neutral at least.
Also would like to see how the Old Ones/Outer Gods are doing now and if the other Demon Sorcerers have their own plans to possibly deal with them like Tso Lan since he is possibly the wisest of the them all being the eldest.
Another conversation with Shendu would be cool and if he has some method to interact on earth as well with his astral form power. Maybe he can send the talismans over to help Chans deal with new threats, get a human body as well, etc.
Wonder if Old Ones/Outer Gods/etc are looking into chi magic and such on this earth while the same is done on the other end.
