Interesting. Sad. I was expecting Elizabeth rejecting Darcy’s proposal in some way but it seems like the breakup was the other way around. Please keep the story coming. And thank you for sharing your writing

The last paragraph gutted me. Here’s Elizabeth, next to her ex, primarily for body heat, but ripping open old wounds and forgiving him for being a hard hearted ex who sees black and white only. Intense.

Meep. Well, that was Awful. And the ending is a little bit disheartening (only a little bit, because I presume that Darcy will answer in the next chapter). And the Bennet parents are Awful.
... and now I realise that given they’re in a crashed planed, and help still hasn’t arrived, the situation is maybe a little more dire than that.
Aviation-accidents-nut-me also wonders if we’ll ever learn what went wrong with the plane.

Ok Darcy I know there's dead people all around and you guys just survived a horrific plane crash, but here's your chance to earn Lizzy's live again! (Also please tell me that neither of them had moved on from the break up. The thought of them on dates or even looking for dates with other people is icky.) Why didn't Darcy try to contact Lizzy after he found out? Did he believe he was undeserving of her, like in canon?

Wow ...Guess Darcy and his expectations, his non observant , his Mistrust, his misunderstanding and his anger played a Big part of the breakup...while Elizabeth defensiveness and insecurities adds to it... Her parents are actually the ones that started it all...if only they are more understanding, observant, Accepting and Supportive...then maybe Elizabeth is more open with her issues and trusting...but it is what it is...they lose time but then like Elizabeth said...the breakup was bound to happen due to Darcy's expectations and her own insecurities that she's not good enough...still if only Darcy...
Question is what next? I do hope for Elizabeth's sake, she is more determine and strong-willed to be able to survive this catastrophe and that Help is already on the way...as for their romantic entanglement, sometimes if it's not meant to be than there's no use fighting for it...que sera sera and all that...
IF Elizabeth can forgive, which yes, honestly she can be generous to do so, but can she forget the mistrust, misunderstanding, expectations, accusations and her own insecurities and issues...very tall order And she is somewhat depended on his heat, she better keep her focus on surviving... And Darcy, well, well, well... do learn how to grovel, unless that's is too much for him...
It is better to love and lost than to never love at all...maybe Elizabeth has the right of it?
