Did she say, "Singing Competition"? Things just got interesting for me. Looking forward to READ the look on Ash's face when she sees Lance in the audience while performing. (Get it? Because it's reading material.) That, and I bet Lance will without a doubt apologize his heart out to Ash in front of her friends. (I hope they'll hear him out.) I hope Ash accepts the apology.

You know this is the first story I have read in this category where Lance isn't immediately classified as this irredeemable monster...he was just someone who was all too assured of himself to the point of neglecting others who ended up getting a harsh reality check. The scene in Ash and Lance's apartment with him and Becky could be seen two ways.. Lance was cheating or he was just singing with a fan girl.
I tend to go with the latter since people do stupid things when there stressed and angry and that tends to be Lance's personality. I think the whole thing with Becky was similar to Rosita and Gunther...singing together yet not romantically attached until after the breakup.
I think the film could have gone more into his character rather then immediately label him as a dirty dirty cheater...he never actually kissed her...he was just singing a love song.
This story has brought much depth to his character...Lance is not innocent, but he's not a monster...not even close. I enjoy the twists you pulled, his injury, meeting Tap and I like where this is leading so far. I also think Lance can actually sing, but he chooses the wrong songs...I think he would do well singing songs like Creep, Dream On, Still Loving you and New York Groove. :)
Looking forward to seeing where this goes. :)
