Hey, Veritus. After reading your version of how Bleach should have ended, I decided to give this a read. So far, it looks quite promising.
I've skimmed through a few Bleach/ High School DxD crossovers, but I think this could blow them all out of the water. That's because I agree with your perspective on how Ichigo would really react to some of the insanity of that dimension. There's no logical way he would ever submit to anyone nor join a peerage willingly. Besides, he's got more than enough power to be a major player in the supernatural fights to not need the Boosted Gear and having him replace Issei as protagonist is rather overdone.
But the real treat so far is seeing Ichigo break out of his post-Winter War depression by remembering Zangetsu's creed. It is rather depressing he would forget such a powerful philosophy when he needed it most (dealing with his Inner Hollow, battling in Las Noches, etc.). Plus, seeing him get himself into shape was good initiative. After all, when you're the protagonist of a Shonen series, trouble is bound to find you eventually.
Still, getting contacted by the Shinto is not something I expected. Then again, he's made some serious waves during his tenure as a Shinigami. Getting noticed by higher powers was probably inevitable.
Speaking of Shinigami, I still find it a bit jarring that Ichigo is actually dead. Granted, I realized that after reading your previous story, but I can't help but find that to be just a tiny bit dark. Regardless, since you plan to pair Ichigo up with someone (possibly even two partners), then all human characters are out of the question no matter how strong his bonds are with them. Outliving his romantic partners would definitely hurt our favorite Substitute.
I'm glad you didn't display Ichigo's awkwardness around women as a sign of weakness or as being wrong. It's rather refreshing to have a protagonist who would deign to treat women as equals and people and not as lusting objects. Though I'm sure such behavior would be completely alien to our resident pervert Issei. Really can't wait for those two to interact.
I also approve of you giving Kyoraku more time to interact with Ichigo. The Squad 8 Captain really seemed like a cool guy who would've gotten along great with Ichigo.
Too bad that dream he had turned into a nightmare. Still, I'm definitely going to keep an eye on this story.
One thing I'd suggest: if Ichigo's friends ever get the chance to follow him to the DxD dimension and they realize they have to get stronger, maybe have Chad go to Soul Society to find his Abuelo. Talking to him might give him some insight for increasing his abilities.

Thank you for the chapter! I didn't mind the reaction of the girls to Ichigo's obvious looks, but that can easily change if you keep bringing up how hot and bothered he makes them throughout the story. I have full confidence that you're not the type to do such things, but I know some authors sadly do ruin their stories that way. For a non-combat chapter, this was still quite entrapping. Ichigo let off enough presence to make people wary of him, but toned it in enough to have a comfortable starting position in their minds. I'll be looking forward to your next chapter!

I get the disliking of devils from Ichigo due to how Rias Gremory's peerage being made up of reincarnated devils and have tragic backgrounds, but isn't always the case for most if not all reincarnated devils hence the speculation surrounding on how humans or other beings gets reincarnated into devils forcefully and that very trend is what lead to being Rias Gremory used Issei's death to her advantage. However, that trend seems to occurred mainly on Fanfiction from what I see in many crossover involving DxD and make me think it seems to be used too much as that is one very strict interpretation of how Issei turn into a devil. Not to mention Issei just have the misfortunes of being killed by Raynare, which accelerated the process of Issei becoming a devil. The case in point, will be Rossweisse, and Xenovia, but no doubt it probably take some convincing on Rias's part for that matter.

Wow brilliant chapter! Can you pls have ichigo embrace his Quincy side? I mean he is a Quincy so he must at least have a schrift like uryu. It would be very unique in the sense that only in a few fanfiction ichigo has a schrift. I don't mean that you should replace his ryujjin jaka but having hollow and Quincy powers as a last resort is good. High speed regeneration and a schrift should be his last resorts. Anyways it depends on you and this is your story so I will read it regardless.

Great chapter, and glad to see you're back! Cannot wait for Ichigo to thrash Coco-Chanel one-handed. I bet our resident Shinigami's brow won't even bleed! Not to mention I can already envision the faces the Devils will make when Amaterasu shows them an eviction notice and asks them to get the hell off her island!

Really good chapter. Liked it a lot good pacing and dialogue.
Regarding Ichigo if you look back at the training scene with Yoruichi he’s peeking through his fingers and he does that again with Rangiku when she’s asking to stay there and Rukia comments on it. He’s definitely a healthy teenager but clearly over compensates being a gentleman cause he thinks that’s how his mom would want him to behave.

I think I enjoyed this chapter most of all now that we're moving into the "meat" of the story. LOLed at Ryujin knowing Ichigo's fantasies. Rukia, Yoruichi, and Soifon too? Everyone's favorite berry could become a very busy guy if he wanted to.
