Yay! Finally finished the Swallow and the Dragon! I read this back around the time you posted chapter 22 and hadn't touched it since finishing what you had then, but I meant to. Just started another playthrough of the Witcher 3 and figured that since I was jumping back into that world I may as well restart this as well and now I've finally finished. I won't lie and say it's perfect but the story is more than good enough to be worth ignoring a grammar mistake every once in a while. WELL DONE!

It took me months to come back to finish reading this, and I'm split on how I feel. Upset with myself for taking so long to finish this masterpiece, but happy that I prolonged reading this ending, as I hate endings. And the only thing I can say is that it's been brilliant, thank you for their journey.

This story was amazing! I'd like to imagine that after Ciri's sister takes the throne, she and harry would start hopping between worlds, a neverending adventure, as it were.

I am enjoying this story a lot. I know it is finished and I have a few chapters to go, but I had to say this. I feel mixed about Harry's behavior regarding Ciri. It is kind of funny, but to me it doesn't really fit and seems kind of forced. Harry shouldn't be anywhere near that thickheaded regarding her.
He may only have the mental maturity of a twenty something, but he shouldn't be so oblivious about her. He's been around too long and he has experience with serious romantic relationships. He's also very intelligent and knows how to read people. He isn't some inexperienced 14 year old virgin boy.

I don't know if it is more disturbing that Harry has waited hundreds of years for his love to be born or that he is not willing to stop many of the situations that led her to the pain she felt when he had the ability to do so.
