So this was great. Really disappointing that you left off with this, though. And it’s currently wide open for a sequel, because we all know that Palpatine would not take the secession of thousands of systems lying down without his orchestration.
He would most likely send both Death Squadron (Vader) AND the Seventh fleet (Thrawn) to either reconquer the planet or glass it.

Such a shame this one never got anymore chapters. This is definitely one of the best Rebels AU fics there are on this platform. I hope one day you can find time or motivation to finish it. But if not I wish you well.

This is brilliant, blitzed it all in one sitting.
Held my focus the whole way through, I'd like to suggest there is more mileage in the story, but maybe best to make a new story to deal with the aftermath regarding the Rebellion and the Empire?
The Emperor isn't exactly going to let Mandalorian space become independent, if anything their fight has just begun.
But obviously that's a huge undertaking on your part, so up to you :)
