Sorry about copying and pasting the same review again, I was unaware that you saw it, it's just that I've seen a lot of Halo Mass Effect fics and a lot of them either a) don't understand the power difference between the two, with Halo steam rolling Mass Effect in most cases, or b) Simply think Mass Effect have better tech despite not having it. Believe it or not, I saw one fic where the Mass Effect side bet the Forerunners who literally use light weapons, but I'm glad you've seen it anyway and agree with it, I just wanted to make sure that this fic wouldn't turn out like some of the others I've seen, I enjoy fics where it's kept like what would happen if it was actually canon, and the canon on this case is that Halo would beat ME.
And yeah, I agree with your end comment, Halo would easily beat the Mass Effect sides in their galaxy, but in terms of controlling the planets, it's impossible. Besides, the UNSC have never really had an interest in conquering aliens. And interesting theory about Forthencho, however, what we know of him is that it seems like he was split into fragments, in the Halo comics it's revealed what he was made into. The Librarian implanted a Geas into a human known as Chakas, who eventually became guilty sparks. Another fragment of him joined the Gravemind to get revenge on the Forerunners, where he learned the Precursors had been around for at least 100 billion years, and despite being an organic made into an AI at that time, couldn't even comprehend that beings could go on for that long. But it'd be interesting to see if Warden Eternal is the 'warrior' side of Forthencho.
But can't wait to see more, on curious on what the ME side will find first, grunts? Elites? Jackal pirates? Maybe even Jiralhanae or San'Shyum remnant forces? I suppose we'll see soon. Anyway, great work, keep it up!

I need to admit that I'll definitely be having some difficulty comprehending the time format difference between the Council and UNSC, because I'm more used to simplified versions that included not much numerical values not zero.
But enough of that and on the chapter:
The main focus of this chapter would be the inauguration of Humanity as the upholders of the Mantle of Responsibility by the four most important ancient figures in their history: the Didact, the Librarian, Forthencho and the Primordial. All four gave their blessings and the last two giving tools that would secure their destiny – the powerful arsenal of the ancient human empire and the control over the Flood itself. Unfortunately the latter would definitely present to be a very controversial subject given it's nature as a virulent bio-weapon. Using it would be abhorred, yet destroying it would be counter-productive as well. The solution would be to keep it as a secret weapon – a trump card should things go awry. Should there be a leak, cover it as a flood outbreak and stage an extermination with the Keyes protocol.
The survivability of a neuro-physical construction is eye-raising as all were virtually destroyed by the Halo-firing during the closing stages of the Forerunner-Flood war tens of thousands of years ago. The reasoning of being constructed deep within Genesis is a fallacious judgement given Halo's firing configuration; all biomatter in the Galaxy has been vaporised so I'm not even sure subterranean organisms regardless of depth would be spared.
Given its power, the Dauntless would become the new flagship of Humanity. The Mantle's symbol should be carved into the bow to symbolise Humanity's privilege. I'm having a difficulty in envisioning bridge's appearance though.
Now that Blue team will be debriefed by Lasky, I'm sure that they'll tell him everything they know… especially regarding the Primordial.
With the changes you've made, I wonder how're you going to mesh HW2 in your work.
Of course. The virtual lack of mass relays in our galaxy would be worrying for the Council Exploration fleet, as they're solely reliant on them for interstellar travel that I presume they've made little effort to innovate an independent method.
I agree on your reason with a hypothetical Citadel-UNSC conflict, while they can steamroll the ME races in no time flat they would be unable to secure vast swathes of their galaxy. Much like the case of the US during the Vietnam War from what I've read.
I hope you've been appreciating these long analytical reviews of mine. Lastly, I have a proposition that you may like.

Interesting, both In the premise and the route you've taken for the Halo 5 campaign.
Cortana's deception of Osiris is plausible given her capabilities as a Smart AI, manipulating their neural implants into a experiencing a phantasmic reality. An ingenious exploitation on the War Games simulations on your part, the neural implants became a backdoor that allowed the manipulation of their senses.
Ultimately, I must praise you for exploring a very rare idea in the HME fandom – an intergalactic setting. Not many sought to explore this since the world would become bigger than what is deemed enough. Moreso for using ME: Andromeda as a perfect way to mesh both ME and Haloverse into one. On the otherhand, I must criticise them terming the Halo-galaxy as Andromeda since it's a word of Human origin… and they're no humans in their galaxy.
Judging by the description, this Super Relay is based on the Arks shown in ME: Andromeda. How different would this relay be from the others save for the exponentially larger range they can cover?
The Council's going to have the greatest shock of their lives, though I hope that you ought to portray them in a reasonable light.

Fantastic work on letting us know exactly what system you're talking about without having to outright say it's Requiem. You've been doing really well so far and I like the unique ideas you've thrown in, keep it up.

For the ME pov sections, I would suggest that you put the equivalent CE date in parenthesis, or something, next to the CST date for reader ease. Yes, I realize you put the conversion factors in this chapter, but constantly having to jump back and forth to the conversion factors will get annoying as the story progresses, even if you put the conversion factors in each chapter. Also, it would help avoid confusion and ensure your readers have a proper understanding of the timeline of events. You could also just present everything from the perspective of the audience (this is what canon ME does, there's no way the Citadel actually adopted human languages, units of measure, and everything else, it is just presented as such for the ease of the audience's understanding, with the implication that the audience is to understand that everything is happening in a different language) but I don't think that's the aesthetic you're going for.

Love the story!
I can't wait to see how you play out the first contact scenario.

You make it sound as if ME controlls a while galaxy, however i believe they only controll the Orion Arm, they refuse to explore more because of the Rachi (misspelled i know)

Okay something that I really hate that you did, your implying that the ME races control an entire galaxy which is very wrong! They make it quiet clear that they control 1% of the galaxy

I'm enjoying this story. Certainly interesting on your version of the Halo 5 ending.
I remember reading something where someone asked who would win, the Citidel Council or the UNSC? Some people said that if it was pre-covenant war the Council would steam roll Humanity. But if it was after the war, Humanity could hold their ground, and push back. Of course that's in space, not sure how it would go on the ground.
Someone else said that the home fleet of Earth could beat the final fleet in ME3. So yeah, interested on how you are going to take this crossover.

One question, is the ME ship in the past to the rest of them or is the Dawn just still sending the distress beacon?

Very interesting, and it's written well enough, but um... As far as we know, the universe is only 13.82 billion years old. It shouldn't be possible for the Precursors to predate the universe itself by a good 86 billion years.

You cannot stop the flood like that. They create their own gravemind like in halo one. They cannot be controlled they will feast on whatever is alive. If anything I'm disappointed in this route you've taken. I don't mind the first chapter which changes the story of halo 5 but removing the flood like that. People are gonna hate.
