Okay, this chapter definitely should have a warning on it. I nearly choked to death on my drink while reading about Edward's panicked paramilitary stealth maneuvers to avoid getting caught being a creepy bedroom stalker. So funny picturing him pressed against the wall, with his eyes wide as saucers. Then him stopping, dropping and rolling his way out the window all while copping a pervy peek at her yellow unmentionables. Edward is slipping. Hmm, wonder if Bella is feeling sad about hurting Mike or feeling morose because she thinks Edward doesn't 'like' her, like her. Weird that she'd walk out dressed like that at night in the winter into the dark woods. I thought she was following the footprints in the snow from under her window.

Oh dear. I hope Jasper isn't a cheater. If Alice isn't upset, maybe they have a special understanding or maybe he really is hunting...a non-human. I love Alice's sex lesson. It was perfect and simple. Now we wait and see.

Oh my gah, I was reading this chapter with my mouth slightly agape. I had to rereread part of it to make sure I was reading it right. I was so surprised and extremely impressed with Edward's sudden boldness. It was so damn erotic, my gah. Then I read on and realized the twist. LOL That was good. Edward caught daydreaming, erotically. Bella is not cruel or shallow about Mike. She's not demonizing him, or herself. What a breath of fresh air. She's just not...feeling Mike, but doesn't want to be cruel. Breaking up is the more humane thing to do, even if Mike doesn't agree at the time. It's much worse to string someone along when your heart is just not into it. Edward handled that with sensitivity. I love that line Bella said about Mike fighting a losing battle against fait.

Funny movie selections. Great tie-in for Edward with the animal blood in lieu of human blood. I enjoy Edward's brief bold flirtiness. Just enough to get Bella's blood heated up (so to speak) and then lighten the mood. Poor girl. The foot rub is actually quite intimate. That's pretty major. She obviously feels enough to allow him to touch her in that way. Now I want one!

Wow. Jasper being extra 'silly' to help lighten the emotional climate around Edward is sweet. I mean it's self-serving as well, but still kinda great. I'm sure Alice probably knew Jasper wanted to talk sex with Edward, alone. She probably has seen a bit of their talk before looking away. She obviously is aware that her mate was a sexual being before her. It's interesting to hear about it from Jasper's POV. Although he does sound a little like he misses the warmth of a woman.

That was a sweet chapter. I loved the little glances and the playfulness between these two. Edward thinking himself stealthy, getting busted trying to sneak up on Bella. Bella seeing the vampire's reflection on the screen, lol. Her reaction to his feeble warnings. From early on in this fic, I've been wondering why Bella was carrying a 'stocking cap' in her pocket. Now here you further describe it as a 'knit' stocking cap. So am I correct to infer that it's a knit winter hat? Stocking cap brings to my mind, the image of stockings cut and tied to make a covering for one's head at night. I used to wear a stocking hat to protect my hair at night. They were cut pantyhose. I was trying to figure out why in the world Bella would have one of those in her pocket as it wouldn't keep her warm and dry. LOL

Alice sure knows how to make an entrance. Poor Edward, but actually I think this works better for him that Katrina believes Alice is his gf. Bella might be discouraged, but then apparently there's "another man" in her life. Perhaps they will become friends first.
