Not meaning to be rude or anything,believe me i love the story but I was rereading chapter two and just thought about it,Barbossa was the one who stabbed Blackbeared,Jack just finished off the job,but if Jack was being hones about which cup had the tear,than Balckbeared condemned himself to technically killed Balckbeared with the poison blade and Jack was telling the truth about the tear but Blackbeard decided not to trust him,but seeing how Jack ended up not being sure of the cups Blackbeared and Angelica blamed the mix up on is knownfor being a drunken pirate with devil'sluck,but in the three movies before On Stranger Tides whenever Jack lied he never held the sincerity in those lies as he had in the cave,leading me to believe that in that split second when Blackbeard had chose the cup he had thought it out and purposely took the wrong cup and killed himself and followed along with the mix up story.
Sorry if that's confusing but I wanted to point it out,I really like the story and hope you update soon.
