It's good to see that they reached a happy medium between Kate, Alexis, and Rick. Harmony once again will be present in the Castle household. But I was upset to see that she actually did get the apartment. Let's just hope that she won't forget Rick.

Another outstanding melding of canon with your story. Having Rick reprimand Alexis for her behavior is another highlight in this chapter. Beckett referring to the new apartment as "ours" seems to me to be a plus. They can be alone there.

Glad castle and Alexis talked, kinda bummed that Kate got the apartment but Castle needs to look at the bright side of that…they will have a place that is totally for themselves where they don’t have to worry about the time of day or who else is home.

Very good chapter and really good conversation between Jim and Rick. The talk between Rick and Kate at home was also quite good. I'm glad they are purchasing the apartment together.

Very good, important chapter. Good for Beckett telling the men she will decide when she'll "domesticated". it's her decision and no one else's. That said, I really do not understand why it's still a thing to ask a self-sufficient, independent woman's father for her hand in marriage. I know some people consider it romantic, but it seems rude to ask someone else rather than the prospective spouse. At least the conversation that followed was a good one.
