Ed really shouldn't try and get his limbs back. I think that there was only one Philosopher's Stone, he shouldn't waste or risk his life trying to find another to get limbs back. Besides, if he really wanted them back he could get them regrown with magic, although it would be extremely painful(perhaps more painful than automatic surgery although somehow I doubt it. He would needs all the muscle, blood, bone, and sinew grown back). I think he should at least keep his metal arm since it's a good way to fight he should also keep the leg but you know..
