Ichigo, how can you not realize that Aizen's statement is a more elaborate way of saying "the ends justify the means"? Words of a "well-intentioned extremist"?
Central 46 and Yamamoto are one thing, and the Royal Guard and Soul King are another. We will have to see which evils emerge in due time. But at least depending on the levels of atrocities that may or may not be revealed, Ichigo might find himself with more allies than he thinks among the Gotei 13's ranks depending on how much about the Central 46, Royal Guard, and Soul King that they know (at the very least, Kirio Hikifune knows Hiyori while Oestsu Namaiya seems like an alright guy). In that case, there may very well be more than "but two choices" to have, although when it boils down to it, neutrality aside I guess it will ultimately come down to "are you with me or against me with them?".

What a battle! All glad Aizen is dead and gone. Thou I would've liked to of seen Ichigo become the new owner of the Hogyoku. Anyhow part.1 was well written and a blast to read!
