There are a lot of things wrong with season 4 and season 5 (Chloe's flanderization, Adrien basically becoming a yandere for Marinette, the pathetic attempt to portray the mayor as likable, Zoe's introduction, Marinette lying to Adrien about Gabriel, etc.) and one of them is how seemingly anyone can free themselves from an akuma when in previous seasons it was almost impossible to achieve.
