Hes adorably awkward and protective to luke and i love how you wrote lukes character here and the progression of their conflicted father son relationship. Oh my God, It was so beautiful! Thank you! I also laughed quite a lot. When Luke jumped into that river I really thought Vader would just pull him out like he did with the fish and burst out laughing with the image in my head. I just wish it was much longer, I honestly thought you would stretch the father revelation untill maybe months with Luke living with Vader as his prisoner on the Empire ships. But I loved it anyway! Keep on writing great stuff.

This is great! Alternating the POV is working really well and you have loads of witty lines that both fit the narrative and highlight the ironic and often humorous aspects of their situation. My favorite so far is that Luke seemed to idolize his father and want to follow in his footsteps, unaware that he was already doing so (sorry, since I can't copy the quote, it's not exact, but that's the gist). I wish I had time to finish the story right now.
