to the reviewer who can't be bothered to register on site please take a chill pill it's fanfaction which means characters can be what author wants them to be. That is what make fanfiction great it doesn't have to be Canon you can create and imagine your favourite characters in what ever scenario you come up with. Also Dumbledore is not dying of old age he dying from the curse on the ring he retrieves from the grunts home

I have to admit that after seeing an update of this, I had to reread the whole story, and I'm glad that I did. This was a great read and I cannot wait to read more. I don't blame you for prioritizing real life over this, especially when its a hobby of yours.

been a while since I've read this, but I skimmed through the comments and found tons of annoying ones.
mostly ones staying copycat fanon or cliche fanon and complaints about giving Hermione a bunch of books... stfu.
so complaints about giving away the black family library... I don't remember what actually occurs, but if I was the writer there would be the family grimoire. it is the only book that actually matters in the library, as it holds family magic (you know, the secret stuff). everything else would be mostly random old Knowledge and common knowledge (you know, the stuff you get at the bookstore... you idiots).

Whoops, Harry sent the 600,000 galleons as a "loan" where as you have Amelia stating that harry "donated" the galleons. A donation is NOT paid back.
Either Amelia misspoke or Harry will get a nasty surprise, as he didn't seem to ask for a contract on the repayments.

That chapter actually made me chuckle.
Did Harry Potter, the boy who lived, head of three different houses and the one prophesied to defeat Voldemort said that he was "nothing special" ? That just silly.
The best way to make something appear as poorly hidden bragging is false modesty.
