Awesome story! I liked how we kinda got a collage of Tom's life from the perspective of different times at 2 AM. I also liked the ending a lot.

That was just wonderful, for a little story. I haven’t seen the warp 10 episode yet, or at least rewatched and remembered but the conscept is universal. I have always seen Tom Paris as a tourchered soul. I think that’s why the Paris/Torres relationship works so well.

Lovely. Really insightful and believable. It's really nice to see other characters beyond the senior staff being explored, and friendships forming outside of that circle.

Augh! Poor Joe. I hate that they brought him back just to kill him off. It's my head canon that Tom and B'Elanna have a second child and name him Joe because of Carey. Great story!

Very interesting and poignant. I always liked Carey and didn't like it when he was killed. I must admit, that Warp 10 episode is one of my least favorites, but you're exactly right, there was of course some emotional repercussions that must have been worked out behind the scenes.
