Honestly, I hope that a Part 2 of this is being planned, even if it's been quite a few years since we've heard anything. This has got to be one of the best stories I've ever read, and I'm sure a Part 2 would be just as good if not better.

That was a fantastic read from start to finish.
Still no idea who Frija is though.

This was a fantastic story to read. The worldbuilding and sheer detail present is truly a rarity on FFN. While it is saddening that the story is concluded, I wish you all the best for your original work.

I enjoyed your story very much. Both the detail and the political aspects of the story are awesome. You can definitely see the effort put into it.
If you ever are continue a sequel someday for this one, then I'll be more than happy to read it and share what I think of it.
Well done. Now go and write your own story.

I quite liked this story. Has worldbuilding comparable to another Fates fic 'Into a Walled Garden' which is quite refreshing. The characters are compelling, though I agree with some other reviews that Gareth is simply more interesting. Nonetheless, will look forward to the next chapter.

eleanor has definitely improved over the current arc, but gareth's storyline is simply more interesting atm.

Wow... Eleanor has really grown, making her own up to her choices by protecting Jakob. I like how she especially begin to use her gifts in the most effective way she can.
Well done on her arc there.
Looking forward to see what will happen in the next chapter.

What a chapter.
Medieval justice is extremely harsh, and its refreshing to see that accurately portrayed in fiction. Even then, there are execution methods even worse than what the Darrows' received, such as quartering/hanging.
Eleanor likeability has increased exponentially since her contest with Leo over Brynhildr. Looking back, it was irritating to switch from Gareth's interesting plotline at that time. However, I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop because I'm estimating that one of the 'Corrins' will betray Nohr for Hoshido because apparently that's what everyone does in a twin!Corrin setup story.
Garon has solid reasoning, callous and inhuman as it is by modern day ethics, but Garon is vindicated by IRL history. Eleanor's solution is the ideal solution where a winner can win the loyalty of the defeated through mercy. Unfortunately, that doesn't work most of the time as the defeated party has memories, and will try to avenge their prior defeat once sufficient time passes.
Thanks for writing.

I actually think that Eleanor has grown quite considerably from back when she was just a spoiled brat. When she found out about her friend's death at the hands of her brother I thought for sure she was going to become a revenge obsessed villain that would become utterly unlikeable. I am pleased to see however that I was mistaken and that she has instead become a much more likeable and interesting character. In fact I think that I like her almost as much as Gareth now.
As for Garon, I personally think that while his actions in avenging his wife were justified (even if his methods were a bit appalling), however I don't think that he should have forced Jacob to watch it however.

Very good chapter. I definitely see a lot more maturity in Eleanor! Very impressive. I wonder what kind of proposition she has for the two young orphans? Hmm...
Keep up the good work! Loving this! Can’t wait to see what’ll happen next!

Good to see that Eleanor is getting better with interacting with her people. A bit short but enjoyable none the less.
Looking forward to see what will happen in the next chapter.

Excellent chapter! You did pretty well with Eleanor. I was impressed! Although the ending part there kinda gave me an ominous foreboding. The part where Garon asked if he would lie to her hit me in the gut like a meteor. I can only think of what will happen if/when Eleanor learns the truth...
Still, on a lighter note, keep up the good work! This is getting good after each and every chapter!

Love how Eleanor comes to the conclusion, on what she must do for her to become better, after talking to George. Love the character growth.
Very much looking forward to see what will happen next chapter.

Interesting! I definitely saw some good character development in this! I hope Eleanor will take these lessons to heart and hopefully become a batter person because of them.
But yea. I can tell that these lessons along with Eleanor’s drive to become like Katarina will be slightly spat on (for lack of better term) when she eventually learns the truth of her Hoshidan heritage.
I digress though. It seems that Marie was more influential to Eleanor than we thought! I hope that will be rectified. There may just be hope for Eleanor and her character yet!
Please keep the good work coming.
