Great story, I would think a follow-up explaining why the couple left would be good. Love how Tank explained their need for readiness.

I would like to know what happened to Tony and Cori. And if there was away for them to contact and see the guys for a little while. Maybe explain what happened and why they left like they did. Is there something that the guys can do to help them to come home? Or how about now the same reasons are putting Ranger and Stephanie on alert. Putting Tony and Ranger together to protect there girls then add the MM as well... You have a part two that will have your readers on edge wanting an explanation. I hope that you will consider it.

This could be the start of a good short story. We have a code word we use if someone other than family needs to pick up the kids so they know it is our wishes not some bad situation/person trying to take them and we are by no means military.
