Great story, marred by the weak, ridiculous ending. Having stayed with you through 62 chapters we, your readers, deserved a proper conclusion. Would it have killed you to have stayed within the realms of reality instead of this gobbledegook? My dismay at this ending is made all the worse because I've enjoyed your other stories, which thankfully are much better finished off. Disappointing.

I have been following this story for a long time, but just started to re-read it and had forgotten all about it! great story! don't love the ending, but that's because I'm nosey and want to know how it all went down at the funeral, does Rangeman know the truth, what about family?

This is so good, I’ve read it twice now. And the dragon story gets to me every. single. time. I would have liked more closure —was Ranger suffering from amnesia? Was he purposely avoiding letting the authorities know he was alive, and “faking” his death so he could start fresh with Steph? But I kind of like that the ending is open to interpretation. Kudos to you on a well written story—I hope you continue to write more SP FF!

Well I’m reading this again. We are reading as part of a FF book club. And I’m still heartbroken with Stephanie. She lost maybe the two most important pieces of her heart. But she’s right. I’ve read a lot of stories and I think this is one of my favorites! The plot kept me on my toes with intrigue and the emotions between Steph and Ranger had me tearing up. Great job!
