I liked it a lot. I can picture it being like this. For Sam she lost her best friend. For Jack he got hurt, lost a friend and a person on his watch. Of course he knew he could not watch everyone at the same time but that does not make it better. At this moment was his time to make Sam feel better and hopefully help himself a little.
