Wouldn't it be ironic if their father turned out to be James Lake Sr? Then they would have two warrior big brothers and possibly Jim's mom would come to at least see them as kids to help out and patch up as well.

I reviewed this over on ao3 but since I just went on a little rant on my tumblr about how ppl on this site never leave comments I'm going to put my money where my mouth is.

So here I am again.

I really loved the third paragraph in particular. Goblins smelling sulfuric and rubbery is an awesome sensory description.
Also, I really liked your lady Skin-Changer her re-worked characterization was very nice. She got to go down like a badass.
