Man this story is quickly becoming one of my most looked forward to for updates stories atm. It also had me go and check out some of the other mass effect ffics as my previous experience had not been great with stories in the mass effect universe, they all seem to just fallow Shepard while not really changing anything. Like always good chapter, things gets more and more interesting especialy with posibility that the Volus will be much more powerfull when the reapers came. As for volus and their capabilities in ground warfare, in codex is mentioned that they fight in armored exosuits but because of cost and lack of power armor reaserch they are expensive and in consequence wery rare, if someone(hint hint) would invest in this business they would see much both profit and favor of volus. Also it came to me that if Brock would use his money he could find or intercept Rachni Queen egg and if he convinced her that he only want to help and stop "the machines" then he have fantastic workforce that don't need money and can work in some far away system to produce whothever he want. Or intercept her after the Virmire mission if you don't want to mess with canon. Now aboout the new races well I don't see that coming so good job with suprise just one question, will they play some role in future or are they just mentioned? Also if he want to have some usefull tech then he can come to Therum, after all ther is both the Prothean force field and that bublle field that Liara was trapped. Also there is the Reaper wreck in Thorne system in Hawking Eta claster and whothewer killed it, in Mass Effect 2 is said by TIM that they find it when they traced from were was shot the bullet that created big crater on planet Klendagon and that they found WHAT have shot it so they have something that can guts out a Reaper. And lastly what about medi-gel? IF is not yet created Brock could invest in the corporation that make it or compeletly take over it to score massive profit and prevent Salarians from stealing the formula. Like always you can use or not my ideas in story and good luck writing, I alwayslook for next Chapter. And Merry Christmas:).

Ha! Talk about another awesome chapter. Loved the last movie review with the Krogan at the end of the chapter. Krogan plus Dinosaurs are a definite match made in heaven. Lol. There was a lot of good stuff in this chapter beginning with another awesome conversation between Tevos and Brock. I also loved the movie review bit as well as the dealing with the Volus ambassador.
I especially loved the dealings with the Volus ambassador since more authors usually don't bother with them at all, and I'm really interested to see what would happen if the Volus tried to gain more independence in the galactic theatre. Good luck with your next chapter, Merry X-MASS, and as always have fun writing.
