A decent enough start, but I would suggest putting characters’ dialogue in quotations to separate them from descriptions and other things not being said in-character. There’s also some run-on sentences that should be fixed, but they’re not a deal-breaker (for me at least). I’ll throw a follow on this to see how it goes.
