The Chest of Harmony. Huh, I'm not familiar with that. But its been ages since I even watched the show, so that's no surprise. I liked your description of chi/ki VS magic. It's kept nice and simple, but not so simple that its childish.
Frieza finds floating cities distasteful, eh. For some reason that made me laugh. Good old city-size genocide, it one of DBZ's tried and true methods of saying "Oh shit this guy is evil" Especially after the resistance forces are dealt with so easily.
I like how Frieza showed it his version of mercy simply because he found the creature amusing, the dragon of the last version wasn't so lucky. I remember in the last version of this you had him run across the kids playing a game of "Bang" That was grizzly as hell but so befitting of Frieza the way he handled that encounter.
I'm enjoying this loads. I suppose you won't get as much attention for it this time around as, like another reviewer said, the DBS archive is kind of new. But all things with time.

Well this is an interesting discovery. I had my doubts it'd be worth checking the DBS crossover archive with how few entries are here, but now I've found something to enjoy and follow. Yup, doesn't matter what universe, reality or dimension he's in, Frieza is still and will always be a royal dick, and that's why we love him.

Oh this is so much fun. Discord would have had a pretty decent shot of defeating Namek saga Frieza, but not RoF Frieza. You can actually feel the menace Frieza is supposed to exude, as in the Namek saga. I like the dark twist this has and the sense of despair. I like that Frieza is thinking more tactically and intelligently by destroying the Elements where before he'd have played along and let them be used.
The ponies reactions are quite entertaining, and fairly in character as well.
If Goku made an appearance now, Frieza probably wouldn't be much of a challenge with his stamina problem. Although with his training potential, just having fought in that form would have seen him improve, kind of like training in the sense of a deadly sparring match. If he were to ascend to the level he's at in DBS episode 95 while Goku and Vegeta are only at the level they're at in the U6 tournament, it'd take both Goku and Vegeta to defeat him, unless Goku uses a X10 Kaioken, and even then, at that point Kaioken really messed up his body.
I think I see where you might go with this, by giving Frieza magic on top of his current abilities, Goku and Vegeta would be at a disadvantage. He may even be able to amplify and stabilize his power somewhat.
Also if you're going to redo the Discord Vs Frieza battle, you could have the ponies do some kind of emergency action where they let discord absorb some core element of the world's magic if such a thing is possible (Which would have negative effects on the world which is sustained by magic) so that his powers are drastically enhanced enough to actually threaten Frieza in his natural birth form until he bulk up to 100% (No Golden Form, saving it for a later surprise to show the ponies they never had a chance) then by narrowly defeating Discord, he then absorbs that source of magic into himself, and in Frieza's control, he's able to fuse it with his own power and make it even more powerful.
I'm betting while Frieza's distracted with Discord, the other may find a way to repair or reform the elements and then decide to use them to strike at Frieza while they think his fight left him weakened from battling Discord.
Well, enough of my conjectures, I'm getting carried away as usual and am getting too ahead of the story.

Well this one made me smile. God level ki doesn't agree with the ponies. Their heads would explode to sense Golden Frieza. Nice to see Frieza being his usual evil self. I'm not up to date on MLP, but Discord living peacefully with everyone sounds quite amusing.
I can already tell this is better written that your old one. The previous version's whole Molestia thing was worth a chuckle, but it was just so weird and out of place. This version makes more sense and also feels darker and more serious.

And so it begins and the Evil Emperor is on his way. I wonder how things will take shape this time around.
Frieza it seems is a more terrifying fiend than expected. Just through image training and meditation in hell he managed to improve. As of episode 95 he and Goku are declared evenly matched (Without Goku using Kaioken.) I cannot help but wonder how long Frieza will spend here and if he will train similarly his new form. He may not have time unless it spans beyond the Universe 6 or Goku Black arcs. But its all semantics in the end.
Can't wait to see what entertainment this rewrite will bring.
