That was such an interesting take on things, the real motives for Reid's actions. I never thought of it that way. Great work.

You did a good job filling in the motives behind half a dozen trained observers overlooking Reid's condition after the Henkel case. His own thoughts and use of misdirection were so logical and believable that I'm amazed it never occurred to me. Of course he had to hide his mother's condition in order to continue looking after her. The notion that Reid would incite bullying and take a beating is no different from his adult behavior, he does that very thing more than once on cases.
Impressive insight into the characters.

This is incredible! There's such a level of depth to the feelings and you go far beyond what the show dared to show us and just... there's so much here, I don't even know how to begin addressing it, but my heart is aching for Reid. You've essentially rendered me speechless here. This is great work!

Oh my gosh! I'm pretty sure my jaw just dropped. That was poignant and beautiful! Truly an amazing piece of work. I am DEFINITELY reading the next two chapters.

Just finding this, it's very good. I imagine this is precisely how he felt and what he imagined was going on with his "family." I hope they prove him wrong. Love your style with this.

I freaking loved this!

I'm a sucker for happy endings, as wellmust be all those disney movies I watched as a kid. I loved this story. The detail you went into was truly astounding and, even though I know as much about withdrawal as you, perhaps less, but you handled it pretty well, I my opinion.

I agree with everything you said. When Reid had headachesthey were like, "Are you okay?" and when Reid would say "I'm fine" they would dismiss it, like they were in fact playing that game. People who profile people for a living should recognise when a friend of theirs is hurting, and even when they can't do anything to fix it, they should at least try to comfort him, or something. But still, Reid is a lot stronger than he thinks. I thoroughly enjoy this story.

I enjoyed this story from start to finish. Thanks for sharing your talent, and your point of view. Looking forward to seeing more from you!

This is a treat-I really, really love your style, and your use of metaphor. The dream sequence was haunting, and so aptly symbolic of what was going on at that time. Like you, I've always thought that exchange with Gideon at the end of 'Jones' was odd and not at all conclusive. Really looking forward to the final chapter. And I love the different types and themes of 'misdirection' throughout-brilliant, and tragic, tie to Reid's love of magic.

Very deep. Looking forward to more.

Oh well, at least you're not spelling it "Reed". I enjoyed this chapter. I love reading into other people's interpretation of Revelations, becase I also feel that the show didn't give into the story as much. It is easily one of the worst things to have happened to Reid and the writers passed it off only as addiction and nothing else. I think it would have been interesting to see more of how he handled it from his perspective, similar to the scenes after Maeve's death.

I love it! looking forward to the next chapter!
