I have just recently read through all of Emerald Gleaners' adventures. It took a few weeks of solid reading, but i've caught up to her first world war. Her efforts continue to astound me and I am excited to see how the forshadowing of the past books comes to light. Both of you have my gratitude for such an amazing story.

Well in the previous arc I was somewhat although not really expecting to see Alex's return, because there is simply no way Heller could actually win if Alex was trying to in the first place, i'm pretty sure if Alex wanted to he would've killed Heller and there is no way Alex just "went insane" considering what you see of him in the sequel, it just doesn't make sense why he'd act like this, unless the thousands of memories he has access to somehow effect Alex he wouldn't act even close to that unless that wasn't how he actually felt, he likely did it to get off the blackwatch radar and wait till everything quiets down and then he'd come back in the form of vomit or something, so i'd expect to see him back because how does he go from "i need to save Dana" to "i'll end all of humanity's problems by turning everyone into evolved" i hate the idea of him dying as well, i'd like to see him return, maybe end up in Equestria or maybe he already did return and replaced Heller, Alex always has plans within plans, i believe he'd want to be alone after all his famous quote is "I'm Alex Mercer, a monster, a terrorist, i'm all of these things, i hunt, i kill, i consume, i become, i'm going to find whoever did this to me and i'm gonna make them pay" and there's also "i'm less than human, but also something more" plus i miss playing as him and the first prototype's main problem is the powers, they're not very cool, they could've gave him a cannon, so many cool things but claws? Extra dense giant tungsten fists(BIG MEATY CLAWS!)? Muscle mass? A whip? All of those dumb things(well kind of except for the Muscle mass, making people explode by punching them is fun to be honest) so i do like the way you made the powers a little more creative.

Excellent! New chapter. Not much to say for this one that I haven't already said in other reviews, but I'll give it a shot.
- Kind of similar to what Moon Dancer said, but from the writing-perspective, it seems like Oskar could have just explained things to that couple, rather than half-aggressively scold them. "Yes, I am powerful in quite a few ways, but I'm not a deity. I can heal and even improve people's bodies, but not 'bless' them. I can solve problems presented to me, but not 'answer prayers'." Something like that. It would have been nicer, and probably more effective, to be honest. And he's smart enough to realize that.
- It does seem a bit... off... that Oskar was taken so COMPLETELY off guard. I mean, he has such advanced (and even EXTRA) physical senses, magical senses, and even SPIRITUAL senses, that his being hit with this development just seems... ehhh... I don't know. Honestly, you've built Oskar up to be so powerful, intelligent, multi-talented, and perceptive in previous installments of the story, that it's been coming off as increasingly contrived whenever he suffers a significant defeat/near-defeat/significant-setback. It might just be my interpretation, but it DOES seem like you've kind of written yourself into a corner, a small bit.
~ To weigh in on the chapter-length issue, well... Hm. I think it's fine if you make them shorter every once in a while, but, if you'll forgive my presumption, they shouldn't get TOO much shorter. Long chapters mean more content per update, yes, but what's more important is that long chapters allow readers to "settle in" for a nice reading session. A long chapter allows you enough time to relax into reading it, blocking out the outside world and immersing yourself in the world of the story. If you make the chapters too short, that particular enjoyable aspect of reading (your story) will be lost, regardless of if the quality of your writing is just as good as always. So, yeah; don't stress too much over length, but I advise that you not allow yourself to devolve to the point of "bite-size" chapters, either. Writing fiction is a CREATIVE process, so adhering to such a mundane rule 10kper-chapter too strictly will just stress you out and either make writing less enjoyable for you or (potentially BECAUSE your lessened enjoyment would subconsciously seep into your writing) even reduce the quality OF what you write.

I found this sotry only a few days ago... so far i have read trough the entire adventure.
And all i have to say of this is... Good job, you've made yourself into one of the best stories i have ever read.
