Well, umm... I don't know. As a fellow fanfic writer, I say this kind of story would have had potential as a longer story, because as it go along, it suddenly became rushed. Although as a one-shot as which it is intended, I can see that it can be also seen as a sort of a bedtime story that a parent might tell their child. In that case, I can see it's potential as a good story, but the circumstances of the events in the end leave much to be desired in actually reading through those events as they happen.
To summarize, yes, I can say I liked it, but as a longer and more detailed story I would have probably liked it more. I wait to see what other kind of ones-hots you are planning to do.
