Fun little piece! lol though I will point out, that an engineering major that likes to pull things apart and put things back together would at least know how to put on her own tire, and know that the tool needed would be a Tireiron to take off the lug nuts along with a jack and crowbar to jack up the car. Now I could completely get her being pissed that she didn't have a tireiron to remove the lug nuts as that would completely derail any attempt to do so, just a little far to stretch that she didn't know how it was done at all. Now I could see her being vague and alluding that she didn't really know how to change it once Kara asked and pointed out she didn't need the tools, just out of pure curiosity to see what she would do, that I think would be a very Lena thing to do.
Anyway it was still a very sweet and lovely little story! Kinda wish it was longer! It would be interesting to see how things would progress if they had already known each other and had an openness like you had written in this story.
