So on the powers of his enemies. We have Curly Bird Mcgee who you can use the fact Dionysus had one as his symbol animal (Panther that is, type of Leopard or visa vi), making it so you could easily change it to make him adapt to conditions much better, or even just shifting the strength output to an adaptable multiplicative model rather than static increase, or use Life Return to make Luffy freezing him hard unless he gets to the more immediately deadly temperatures and even then would have trouble due to body control and Haki. We have Door man, who I have already showed mmy thoughts on beating, but just him having a harder Tekkai and Luffy not having a brittle breaking attack would make the fight harder, because once again, Life Return, or even making a door of the Ice, he shouldn't have to move too "fall" into a door, right? He is kinda like Kaguya in that regard. Geico Gekko could just not use end attacks, or be generally silly, he is basically king of the walking dead at that point and the shadow thing shouldn't have worked, I mean Oars is still easy to beat(he died originally to ice, and wouldn't feel as his joints fell to pieces), but Gekko should still have haki, and some sort of Shadow teleportation right? Then comes Kuma, who is already over powered, you could just say he is further along in his transformation than previously thought, or take the paw paw push to effect the area in a weather base, forcing any deviation "outside" the paw. Next comes Magellan who you could just not let take it easy, or include haki, or include the heat based poisons, or use vapors to effect his lungs. Hoady/Hordy/Hody should not have lasted that long anyway, though you could make use of the volcanic vents with fishman karate. Gassy man is a gas, just have him not be a visible gas, like hydrogen, yuki onna is just making me sad. Just no DF in the Colosseum, and follow up with early Awakening, or even make the later "gears" more dangerous for the user till he works those out in the fight (or after it). The rest should be relatively simple for now, we haven't even reached the Gate yet.

So it is likely you are twisting it for Sabo or Teach to reach the fruit, and depending on how you perceive people guessing that you will have them drop it or eat it. Also, now that the fight has happened (Mochi fight) I can say this, you could technically open up holes preemptively, such as molding the Ice around a hand, ruining the conductivity allowing a bolt to move quickly, or even breaking off blocks preemptively to cause psychological effects and weaken Haki (not likely in this) or shifting that weird Zero idea to have Haki be the containing force to make it safe for him to use.

I would think Sabo would go for Water 7 rather than Jaya because of the routse not all leading to Jaya and Most converge on Water Sevens tracks (or so you would think).

The naming sense will always be stupid, no matter the fruit its Luffy, but I would think if you were to use the fruit name, you would do it with the standard Ice Ice: Wall or so, or even just "Wall" or "Freeze" to liquids, "Floor" to solids which doesn't even go into how Luffy actually does have a naming set for each gear and base attack, and when it comes to capabilities I think I already made my spiel but I think I have more.
Mirror Man for Gear 2, Blueno gave him that "idea" I would think. - basically Haku's Demonic Ice Mirror but more limited to an individual pair in base Gear 2.
From seeing the Giants strength and lacking in size, comes Gear 3: Brittle Man - he freezes the area around him in close contact to make anything he comes into forceful contact with Brittle, including himself in base.
Being unable to dodge effectively we get Gear 4: Morph Man - He becomes a half melted Ice Man (Amorphous if you will), one who will slide at the slightest move, rather than taking damage he will mold himself around it taking in the damage and turning it against his enemy.
Finding sliding to slow, Gear 4: Vapor Man - makes him take to the air, with a burning Ice freezing the air making up his body, he can solidify into a burning Block at a moments notice.
Next we have the Ultimate Moves rather than the body effects.
Zero: stops the movement of atoms in the specified (rather small until near raftel) point, making a ball of black ice, so cold it makes a glacier around itself.
Ice Ice: Beast - It makes the Floor mold itself into a(n) (or many depending on when) basic animal Morph Man
Zoan: He becomes an animal made of Ice (Articuno came to mind, or Regice, or a Youkai)
Fall: He changes the weather. The Weather. As in Blizzard in a Desert change.
Do these help with making more ideas?

Are you keeping with the color and fruit type themes? And for the "gears" I would say movement, going to absolute Zero at Awakening, and near deep space at Gear 4, or control for Pheasant at 2 Age at 3 and Time at 4 with awakening having movement slow to a crawl with water converting space around him into a frozen pool rather than land, or even liquid Ice as a Gear, or have those as Gears (just more spaced out in activation) followed by Demonic Ice Mirrors at Awakening or 4. I still like Liquid Ice for an unlock, that would be awesome, or even Dry Ice at a Gear, Ice that burns rather than cools. Man do I think too much.

Is the Hie Hie no Mi an actual Logia? Every other Logia we've seen is named after the element itself, but Kuzan's fruit implies that he has control over extreme low temperatures. And given Kakakuri's revelation of a 'Special Paramecia' that has Logia properties, with an 'element' that is also solid/tangible, like ice...

Ahhh... correct me if I'm wrong here, but if Cricket is upgrading the Going Merry for the Knock-Up Stream, then why are they still in Mock Town trying to find out how to get to Skypiea?
