I need to know who papa is!

This update was EVERYTHING! I cannot even begin to praise the level of skill it took to make these last two chapters so action packed, gut wrenching, and heartfelt at the same time. I absolutely loved the death eater attack scene.

Poppy was, unfortunately, in her element and I enjoyed every SINGLE second of that battle. The tenacity and cold logic she uses to fight is something that makes her a huge asset, and her passion for protecting that idiot boy she calls a brother makes her downright lethal.

I would absolutely LOVE to see some death eater reactions to how skillfully this girl took on and outclassed many dark wizards twice her age. If anything, I'd love for Tom Riddle to take a bit of an interest in this nameless orphan whose origin story hits many of the same notes as his own. I mean, these two are both a product of Wool's Orphanage, entrenched in the dark arts, and both have the uncanny knack for utilizing their entire array of skills to influence and analyze the people around them when the situation calls for it. I honestly feel like Poppy, more than her brother, exhibits a very real likeness to the Dark Lord. All that charisma and influence that is used to mask their true intentions...I honestly get the metaphorical chills thinking about all the parallels between these two.

Regardless of how he deals with his followers now, I'd imagine Tom Riddle had to be pretty charismatic and skilled at manipulation in order to obtain so many followers over the years. I'm also very eager for "Papa" to come into the picture and maybe attempt to very publicly reclaim his pet project, if only because all the time he invested in her training is on full display now. I'd really enjoy some type of scene where he takes credit for her brilliance and skill, especially if it's in front of her parents or the Order. I have my guess as to who it is, but I feel like it's so out there that I can't be right.

I also cannot be the only one sensing a "thing" between Poppy and Sirius, can I? I mean it's been less prevalent in these last few chapters, but I totally felt like seeds were planted. Someone acknowledge the seeds so I don't feel so crazy for thinking these two might someday sorta be a thing. Especially given how mature she is in some aspects.

I cannot thank you enough for all the lengthy updates recently. This story has honestly been the best relief for me from my everyday life that has become so stressful as of late. Your fic is a breath of fresh air at times when I desperately need it most and I am beyond grateful for the quality of work you are putting out when it comes to this story.

Wow two updates this is definitely an early Christmas present! Really love the progress of the story and I hope there's some more of Poppy with Sirius soon! Happy holidays :-)

I must say that I am a little disappointed that Poppy so easily accepts the excuses of her parents but especially the excuse of Hermione who does not have one at all. I understand that she wanted to be liked but I think she is here too trusting especially with all what happened to her.
I also can't wait to know who is her papa, I have one idea but that all and it's to crazy to be that!
I love your story! I can't wait to see the next chapter! :)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I figured out who her "papa" is. Tbh i thought it was revealed earlier on but guess not.
